This class was created by TektonikStyle - variable Power of change 1. Scraggy berserker 1/10 - when receives damage, permanently increases his attack by the same amount. When heals, permanently decreases his attack by the same amount. 2. Young turtle 5/5 - damage dealt to turtle is decreased by X (X=its level). Every turn increases its level by 1 3. Moon warrior 4/10 - at the beginning of the turn turns into moon wolf and heals completely. Moon wolf 8/12 - at the beginning of the turn turns into moon warrior and heals completely. 4. Magic wand - turns target creature of any player into toad 5/25 with no special abilities. 5. Immortal one 7/6 - receives no damage, cannot be healed. At the beginning of the turn loses 1 hp. 6. Midnight - turns target friendly creature into pumpkin 0/3. Owner gets X/2 special power (X = cost of this creature) 7. Assasin-metamorph X/19 - attack is equal to current hp. 8. Hey here's my review =) 1: Great card! original and strategic 2: I see a problem here... hydra. This also would work weird with elementals. 3: seems a bit weak to me, all u need is to block it and use a sweep. 4: I like this one... potentially a bit underpowered but i'm not sure. 5: I like it 6: i don't love this spell but i think balance is fine. 7: i don't think i like it because your ability to deal with it highly depends on ur spells, but its interesting. I would personally make it a bit weaker but immune to spells and abilities. 8: Very interesting, but probably underpowered. Biggest problem is its really bad against classes like forest and golem. 2. Well, ban with hydra then 3. Really? Does it need more hp? 7. There are many other Spectro cards whose effectiveness is based on opponent draw, you know Too dangerous golem then, imho 8. Special 8 for the same cost - underpowered? FORESTRY | 2013-07-18 21:05:54 |
Bug Alert for 8: Mindstealer vs. Mindstealer Floofy | 2013-07-18 23:56:51 |

The whole wolf changing form is awesome, but the concept of an unit that fully heals every turn isn't good imo. 7: that doesn't mean its good thought... 8: Well does it do the same enter play effect as something like ancient giant? if yes then its probably fine

Or unicorn vs unicorn ... 2: you also need to ban it with cloud ;) 3: I personally think its a bad design of a card, let's see what others think. 2. Okaay... In this case card looks unfeasible 3. Well, why bad? You can kill wolf with little problem using sweep, sure - but this means overdraft of resources 7. Who knows... 8.

Living mirror 0/1 - when enters the game, turns into copy of opposite creature. This class delivers kind of okay on its dream of "Change", but could probably use more interesting creature effects. Moon Warrior gets the closest to a really cool creature effect, but the current implementation would be very problematic in practice. The "polymorphs" (Magic Wand, Midnight) are cool effects that would probably be more interesting if implemented as creature effects or Abilities that can happen more than once. Interestingly, almost half your cards are overly powerful against the dreaded Chain Lightning screw.
1) Very good idea. The card is underpowered, however - it should be more powerful on average, than, for example, a Faerie Mage (4/12 with a beneficial attack). Given that the ball is more often in the opponent's court to control Scraggy's attack power, I would recommend starting him at 2/11. 2) Cool idea but too vulnerable to early sweeps (and also a little too good against Chain Lightning screws which are already the worst case scenario in Spectro). I feel like it would be a good card at 4/10, Level 3, max Level of 8. 3) Way too effective against Chain Lightning screws and certain other "single sweep" scenarios. The full heal makes it way too binary of a card - either it dies in one shot or full-heals, which is not really good design. I would recommend higher cost, higher life, and a heal of 8-10 (based on what level you end up making it) only when Warrior transforms into Wolf. This way, you have more defined periods of strength and weakness as the card transforms back and forth. 4) It's fine. Gambit-based strategies will hate this cheap tornado, but there are enough ways to play around it. 5) Kind of an annoying guy that comes in, doesn't interact at all, does its thing, and then dies. Kind of like a non-interactive Steve Jobs! Not the world's most interesting card, but certainly not the worst. 6) I can't see any scenario where spending 6 mana and your turn is worth recovering some mana - ever. The closest I can get is to repeatedly use Titans (but two turns and 6 effective air mana for 15 damage isn't good enough) or to clone two opponent Elementals and pumpkin one of them to boost the other (but this costs a whopping 22 special mana to pull off!). I believe I once saw a spell called "Aqua Vitea" that gave its owner back the entire cost of the creature and only cost 1 Special Mana to use. This actually seemed like a fair spell, with the restriction that it could only be used on creatures Cost 8 or lower. 7) Probably too unhealthily all-in; I'd rather see it as a cheaper card with less starting health (which would make for interesting combos with Scraggy). As mentioned, it runs too hot-and-cold based on opponent's spell draw. Did they draw Acidic Rain? This is a dead card. Did they draw a Chain Lightning screw? You win. 8) As I've mentioned many times before, this kind of card cannot safely exist in Spectro. Cloning cards like Astral Guard or Master Healer could lead to games that are literally unwinnable by either player (except by surrender). Modified by Wavelength on 2016-08-18 16:10:12 |
