I am having a problem with my Spectromancer game. Every time I run the game it is as if it is a brand new copy. I have to put my activation code in every time and win a single duel before I can start campaign.
When I start a campaign and exit the game, I cannot come back to it later, because the game asks me for my activation code again and I have to win a duel for the first time.
How do I fix this / why is this happening? It has done this in the past but I would reboot and it would be fine.
I've never heard of this happening before, but my best guess would be to try running Spectro in
, so that it has permission to permanently change its own files to reflect your progress. This is just speculation, though, and I could very well be wrong. Hopefully someone with better technical knowledge will come by this thread.
