Let's face it: the warrior archetype is the most overused and most common class in RPGs and other fantasy games. And yet, it is also the most necessary, for thematic reasons.
However, in spectromancer, the warrior concept seems to be present in too many classes.
As such, I am proposing redesigns to some classes and cards, mainly the Chaosmaster. This way, we can open up a dedicated Roman Empire-style class that has cards like a gladiator, knight, etc.
Introducing, the Rogue Gambler (replaces the Chaosmaster). Its theme mostly revolves around the "chaotic evil/neutral" personas in RPGs, such as rogues and bandits
1 - Alchemist (replaces Chaos1)
2 - Toxic Crossbowman (replaces Chaos2), and so forth
3 - Stray bullet
4 - Rain of cards
5 - Rogue Trickster
6 - Diplomat
7 - Drunken Sharpshooter
8 - Pirate king
Cleric rework:
1 - Fairy (replaces H1)
Cultist rework: The Tribalist. Replace the Cultist with a tribal themed Summoner warrior
1 - Grunt (replaces C1)
3 - Barbarian (replaces C3).
I'll think of more replacements for the other creatures in the future.
I wish I could think of something for the Warrior Priest, but it seems ok to let it remain as it is. They seem like a race or faction of people that were either colonized or allied with the Cleric.
Let me know what you guys think.
